Couldn't take it. Reminds me of funerals where suddenly people who couldn't stand the deceased in real life are gushing over him now. Sheesh. Hypocrite.
This is not a friggin' funeral!
But it is a loss, and I couldn't take listening to Reid blather on when I really doubt his sincerity.

his newfound admiration for JK is derived from hi gratitude at not having to run back and forth between him and HRC.

14. Maybe I'm a sucker, but I sensed real feeling behind Reid's words. |
|
He looked guilty and I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't truly represent his feelings. Something in his demeanor didn't lend me to think he's particularly happy that Kerry has been done so dirty. He seems to have genuine regret. I'm not used to seeing Reid with such a slump to his shoulders. Maybe he feels a bit like Brutus. Maybe he realizes what a mistake it was not to support Kerry when he needed that support.
Then again, maybe not. All I'm sure of is that I just officially lost it.

6. Harry Reid can suck it |
|
This obnoxious windbag is up now going on about how unfair the Swift Boat attack was.
Where the hell was his support when it COUNTED?
What a bunch of hypocritical, disgusting sons of bitches. Now that he's not a threat to their anointed one, he's the Second Coming.
Fuck them and fuck him.

I hope at least JK and THK can get a good laugh out of the replay tonight.

I kind suspect the unfiltered Kerry ones might be sunny and similar.

I would give big money to be a fly on the wall when THK offers her private opinions on all the cowardly, hypocritical, self-serving Dems, callow, shallow, self-serving journalists.. . the whole slimy lot. I'm sure I would agree with every word.

19. You know, Teddy will be a real help. |
|
There are reasons why Teddy is loved here at home. That man has 'been through it' in his life. I mean, one brother and one sister dead in WWII. Two brothers assassinated in the service of their nation. Neices and nephews dead from accidents and drugs. One broken marriage and a very broken ex-wife, one son who had life-threatening cancer and so forth.
And yet, you know, I danced with Teddy K at that 2005 Lowell Mass Dem Convention. ("Still the One," yeah, Uncle Ted, you are Still the One.) He is a 'happy warrior' despite everything that life has thrown at him. Yeah, Teddy K knows what to do. He had to do it too!

15. You mean when he wouldn't campaign |
|
with "my nominee", John Kerry? Then? (I think the former Republican Congressman who came forward with the story of not just how Kerry saved his life, (It's impressive Kerry knew what to do and responded so quickly and well, but if they could any decent person would), but how they kept up a relationship for more than a decade later. That countered the aloof loner slur. That was a real sweet relationship - that Kerry stood to gain nothing from when he started it.
Reid did far less.

One of you posted the link earlier, but I foolishly didn't bookmark it, and I can't find it now. I also couldn't find any trace of it on Teddy's Senate web page. .. Thanks for any help. .
