Ya all stay safe, but it sounds to me like someone is up to their old tricks again. Smoke screens anyone??? They are trying to hide something. Maybe the Trial going on in DC or all the hearings taking place? Doesn't hurt to be cautious tho'!!!

9. I'm about 30 miles outside of Boston |
|
So I'm safe. My gut tells me there are no bombs in any of these packages. Perhaps my tin foil's on too tight, but I'm thinking fear-mongering or distraction from the real news. Either that, or one of the college pranks went a little too far this time.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom today, but I didn't make anything of it.
Seriously, this has been a bad month.

Either that or it's 'hire that intern time' in the Russell Building.
Ahm, geez, I think Rox is right. It's a bad prank.

14. Somebody owes Boston an apology |
|
And probably a lot of money as well. Saw this in the 'Breaking News' banner on cnn.com:
BREAKING NEWS: Turner Broadcasting is expected to issue an apology for causing today's series of bomb scares throughout Boston. A statement emailed to the Globe from Turner Broadcasting said: "The 'packages' in question are magnetic lights that pose no danger. They are part of an outdoor marketing campaign in 10 cities in support of Adult Swim’s animated television show Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They have been in place for two to three weeks in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Francisco, and Philadelphia. Parent company Turner Broadcasting is in contact with local and federal law enforcement on the exact locations of the billboards. We regret that they were mistakenly thought to pose any danger."

I cannot believe this.
Seriously. I cannot believe this.
This is too hysterical.
And so CNN has OWNED UP to manufacturing a bomb scare story?
Geez. Well, we all knew it, but that pretty much blows THEIR agenda out of the water.
