Today's morning liveblog at johnkerry.com was so much fun, there have been requests for a repeat performance.

I know it's early. And Monday. But hey, if JK can get on the phone with the I-man at that ungodly hour, I think we can drag ourselves out of bed, wipe the sleep from our eyes, and manage to a pretty decent chat.

At 7:29am eastern we're going to speak with our old friend Sen. John Kerry (D) MA. The former Presidential candidate, who lost a close election to George Bush in 2004, will be on to talk about some of the matters at hand. First up, why has he decided not to torture himself (and maybe even us) with another run at the White House in 2008? Did he explore the possibility at all? Will he change his mind? Would he consider a spot on someone else's ticket? Also, what are his feelings on Iraq NOW and does he have any suggestions on what we should do there? And, now that the Democrats have control of Congress, are they willing to stand up to the president with more than words and meaningless resolutions?

The live-blog was a lot of fun this morning. I seriously recommend joining in. There was a very, very nice sense of a community talking today. That should be encouraged to grow.

Imus should be interesting. He's always so caustic but the few times I've seen Kerry with Imus, Imus seemed to have behaved.
