Poll question: What kind of DINO are you?
I don't think any of us owns a Che shirt; therefore, we must all be freepin' DINOs.

1. Ahm, some of all of the above
but if I had to choose it would be:

Goosestepping, mindless sycophant of the Cult of Kerry

Yeah, that's pretty good. I like that. I can work with that. I'm hoping next week to graduate to

drooling, 'can't think for herself,' Kerry-otic troll.

I have to have something to shoot for.

Oh Joy! Oh Rapture! Sisters-in-denial!

I am a Stepford Wife for Kerry. (How delicious.) I have lost all my reasoning ability and I can no longer think for myself. I must robotically respond to all enquiries with my pre-programmed responses. The answer to all questions is now, "What would John do?" (WWJD) Ah, the lobotomy for Kerry thing is really working out for me. Ya think?

Democrats don't have personal slaves. (They just don't.) They have 24 hour political assistants who are available at all times. (And they get paid. A pittance. It's a tradition.)

Democrats do not denigrate their followers. They use them. Fully. Therefore, I posit an amendment to your statement. To wit:

WEL is a paid body guy for Sen. Kerry. As such, she is in charge of doing whatever needs doing. And doing it at a moment's notice for little praise and much internal sense of glowing fulfillment.

There, now that's more Democratic.

14. But we aren't Democrats
We're DINOs. Get it right. DINOs have slaves. This is part of what makes them DINO.

I exist at the whim of John Kerry, to be at his beck and call 24 hours a day. But I don't mind because he is my Lord and Master and it is a great and pleasurable honor to serve him in every way.

31. DINO? Wasn't that Fred Flintstone's pet?
I damn right and well am not a pet.

Hmmm, on second thought pets get to curl up in front of the fire and get patted every day and three-square a day without any effort. Hmmm, okay, maybe I will reconsider this.

Okay, I can be a pet. Does it have to be of the canine variety? I much prefer the feline model. Curled up on someone's lap, being patted. Sh*t, I think he's a dog person. Oh well.

Dino it is then.

I have been permitted to leak the following privileged information about our Cult:

-Upon initiation into the Cult of Kerry, we must all change our names to one containing the name of Our Leader. (The initiation rite itself--at least the women's rite--will remain a secret of the Cult.)

-We must all fall on our knees before the Great DLC Crystal and say prayers to it ten times a day.

-Of course, we must unquestioningly obey any and all commands of Our Leader.

-We must give our fortunes to Our Leader to support him in his privileged lifestyle. This does not bother us because we receive favors in return if we like.

Oh yes, if we read anything, it must be either approved by him or be a volume of the Kerry Manifesto, or the Book of Kerry. Our daily rituals include a viewing of Going Upriver. There is also the Kerrycrat Oath, in which we vow eternal undying hatred for all who ran against him in the primary (except for Edwards, who saw the error of his ways and was inducted into the Cult).

John Kerry spoke to me last night while I fasted and prayed (okay, so I had a couple of cookies!) and smote me on the forehead, saying, "Yea, verily, do I say unto thee, Der Blaue Engel, thou art now one of Kerry's Angels, and ye shall be called Der Blauekerry (rhymes with Valkerie), and ye shall spread my gospel to the ends of the earth, or at least the ends of the San Francisco bi-poly-perv community, whichever shall come first."

Thus spake John Kerry (channeling a voice not unlike Captain Jean-Luc Picard), "Make it so!"

(Touch my forehead; it's still warm and glowey.)

48. Direct from the Oracle
Since the Leader's whereabouts are not known to me now, I went to the Vault, spoke the Secret Phrase, and consulted the Mystical Oracle of Kerry on this matter. The great Oracle says that this is indeed the wish of the Leader, but that he requests that there be no Orcs in his presence and will not transform you into one.

I then asked the Oracle just where exactly he was, but this other voice issued forth from it, telling me that he was occupied. This displeases me.

56. The problem
The problem with unquestioning obedience and devotion is that it is not possible to dislike anything that the Leader could do. Disliking an action of his means that one's mind is not completely assimilated. Since a deed can't be a punishment if it is not disliked, how, then, is punishment even possible?

I shall repeat myself. Bring it on.

I think.

Depending on what we are chosen for.

Ahh, the only way to know is to find out, unless the Leader will tolerate a question of that nature. In the event that it would displease him to be asked what the Chosen Ones are chosen for, I pre-emptively grovel at his, um, size 14+ (I presume) feet.

And I seek his forgiveness if I have underestimated this dimension.

Hmm, what does this post work out to, offending him or pleasing him?

60. I do believe you have groveled sufficiently to please him
However, though I pride myself on my close relationship with Our Holy Leader, I would never presume to speak for him, so my opinion matters little.

61. Good -- I don't like groveling.
Not even to the Leader.

And now I shall sit back, smirk, and wait for the fireworks.

66. Well whatever he does
Please try to dissuade him from expelling me from the Order, that is, if you have that kind of clout.

I don't know if I could stand being thrown to the Che Shirt Neo-Naderite Army. He will just have to learn to cope with my disobedient self.

...Oh, I am really digging myself in deep. :D

67. Our great and loving leader would never throw you to those barbarians
However, he might have to break out the Comfy Chair after all that impertinence.

68. I'm not afraid of John Kerry's Comfy Chair.
He could push me into his Chair anytime.

*ahhhh*

I confess!

Ahh, this Comfy Chair is working on my brain now. I feel myself becoming part of the Order....

Uhh... did he sit here last or something? I sense his presence....

Is the comfy chair, by any chance, leather?
Oooh, that might be really really comfy. Hmmm, having to sit in the comfy leather chair and be properly chastised for transgressions. Okay, I can deal.

77. Well, I did buy the new outfit
It's a shame to have this go to waste. But isn't the Leader in DC. I shall await further instructions on what to do should he venture back to the Ancestral Lands.

I bet there is a comfy chair in the Ancestral Home as well. Again, Oh Goodie!

38. I just had to do it; I couldn't help myself
Warmongering baby killer has such a lovely ring to it.

If it weren't for my secret desire to personally go out and gun down every baby on earth (hey, somebody's gotta do it; ever see When Babies Attack on Mad TV? It ain't pretty!), I'd have picked goosestepping Kerry-cultist, hands down. (Hands...down....)
