Your daughter V. is. As you know but people here don't, she showed up in Montana for the last few weeks of the Tester race and was by far the best volunteer we had (and frankly put all the organizers to shame). You should have seen her work the apathetic students at the nearby college. Almost as funny as a simpering Joe Klein kissing her ass when we bumped into him covering a Schweitzer speech. I respect the hell out of her for her effort. Down-to-earth, brilliant, energetic. Randomly turns out she's marrying my friend's best friend.

Kind of a random post, but I wanted to give you a personal compliment, sir, and also let people know here that here's a busy, brilliant med student making time to donate huge effort under the radar to a race this community really cared about. I know people here didn't know about that. I am damn proud you were my party's nominee.

3. wow, congrats to Vanessa and nice to see she is still out there

campaigning. she has the energy of her father.

and i'm sure JK would not mind, but i think she is probably the smartest of the family. she is going to medical school and has completed programs in the health field. this is a difficult area, but at the same time she is a policy wonk and can discuss just about any political issue.

i rarely see people be so great in both areas as the health care field, especially going to medical school is tough and takes up so much time.

i really hope she runs for office in the future.

we could always use people who are great at science in public office.
