Not a couple of months ago, Kerry couldn't quite quote exactly what Obama had said in his anti-war speech: "I'm not against all wars, I'm just against dumb wars." Now Kerry is becoming more comfortable to tell it like it is in a younger generation's language. Excellent.

but Biden was on Hardball on the same issue, very good too if you get a chance to catch it. He also has an unbelievable exchange with some radio talk show guy I never heard of before who kept repeating "appeasement, appeasement" in the context of what B said and Chamberlain. Matthews kept asking him to say what EXACTLY Chamberlain did and the only thing he was able to say was appeasement, compensating his ineptitude with fast and loud talk, until Matthews had enough and flatly told him that he simply has no idea, educated him about what happened in Munich and then told him to learn some history before he talks about things he knows nothing about. It is for moments like this that I find, on an average, Matthews quite palatable (his reaction to Buchanan yesterday was also good).
