Okay, so call me shallow. But when "mloutre" made his 1000th DU post...

...I wanted to be sure he made it here, in the John Kerry Forum, with all of youse guyz.

Yeah, I know, it's no big deal, especially since plenty of *ilbots made their 1000th posts within a couple of months of signing up on DU, but -- and I know this is extremely out of character when it comes to Democratic Underground -- as a general rule, I only post to websites when I think I actually have something worthwhile to say.

(Yeah, I know, how bee-zarre, I'm just *such* a totally rad blogger-d00d and all...)

Plus there was that extended interim period when I retired this personal nick in favor of my working nick because I happened to be working for a seriously tall senator at the time, so... yeah, it took me almost three years for "mloutre" to earn his bones here on DU.

But, anyway... as I type this, "mloutre" has only two more posts to make in order to crack the magic number, so I'm going to leave this comment open in a separate tab until "mloutre" gets to 999 and then I'm gonna come back here and click on "Post".
