Just spotted JK on the CSPAN coverage of the Inauguration
Wearing a blue scarf and looking expectant and happy!

Saw Uncle Ted a few times -- so glad he's there.

6. I saw him on CNN after Obama's speech.
He looked really good! What a difference this day makes to the one 4 years ago. My heart was breaking then and today it's full of joy. Guys, I really love America today! My dad is watching live on German TV, my friends on French TV and the whole world is happy along with you.

9. OK, you made MY day!
As if anything could get better than Obama's speech, which had me sobbing with joy! But seeing these two looking so fine definitely makes everything brighter. Thanks for the pics!

10. Hold onto your fedora -
MSNBC footage showed JK and THK waving to Teddy from their table at the luncheon. Teddy responded by blowing a kiss.

I just about died. This day is too much!

14. On CNN they said that he had a seizure
and collapsed in his chair. And that Teresa Heinz Kerry took care of him until the paramedics came.

15. Teresa is incredible
Kennedy's comments of how helpful the Kerrys had been to him at Kerry's reception a couple of weeks ago were obviously very heartfelt - as were Kerry's comments to Kennedy. (Kerryvision's video is amazing - http://www.kerryvision.net/2009/01/jk_swearingin_reception_video.html )

16. Teresa
Teresa Heinz Kerry reportedly assisted Kennedy during the convulsions. The senator was wheeled out of the Hall for medical attention on a stretcher. Sens. Orrin Hatch and John Kerry accompanied Kennedy to the ambulance.

Kerry later visited Kennedy at the hospital and told reporters that the senator is in "good shape" following a "mild seizure," CBS News' Joy Lin reports.

He said Kennedy "joked a little bit about what happened" and is grateful for the telephone calls he's received.

Kerry also said this is something Kennedy has undergone before and that it "goes with the territory" of having Kennedy's form of cancer.

20. That is a gorgeous photo
Kerry looks so happy and relaxed - nice smile. Kennedy looked great there. (The blue (what more appropriate color for the bluest states Senators) scarfs are really nice. )
