1. I'm shaking my head in astonishment at this man's stamina |
|
If he wrote that himself--and it looks like his style--then what kind of schedule is he on? How does he have the time to do his "Senating" and write op-eds and keep up with unsettled legal cases... and probably more besides?
Or, perhaps, what substance is he on? (I want some of it, whatever it is.)
Questions to ask this summer, no doubt.
BTW good piece, even though it's plugging his own initiatives. Some people have a problem with that, but my opinion is that there's nothing wrong with it if they're good bills. The word must get out somehow.

4. I thought it was good too! |

It states, in a clear and coherent and short fashion, the points in his recent legislation on helping Military Familes. It is an excellent list of what he is going to do. (Somebody has been improving on how to state things in a clear, short and coherent fashion. LOL! Good for him.)
I liked it a lot.
And I don't know where he gets his energy, but Wow! (I want some of that too. On the other hand I feel out of sorts lately, like I am just not capable of coherence or energy, so I might be feeling the envy blues.)
He is scheduled to give a speech tomorrow in DC, but I don't know if he is going to make it due to the snowstorm. We shall see.

2. if the Herald is the more conservative, so much the better |
|
The best place to get the information out is where the repub and swing voters are. He just keeps on being John Kerry, doesn't he? :)

Looking out for the well-being of the country and still trying to get his campaign proposals enacted... meaning, hmmm, that they weren't "campaign" proposals per se, they weren't meaningless political promises, but issues that he truly cares about.
He just never quits. :loveya:

He really makes his points in very simple language. I wonder if it will be sent to other newspapers as well. Maybe he's trying to build up sufficient public support that the Republicans will have to move towards doing some of these things.
Has a protest movement on issues like veterans benefits, health care, and the environment ever been led by a Senator? He really is an amazing person. He really seems to care enough about these issues to keep fighting when others would have retreated.
