please stop posting positive things on Kerry
because i support someone else for 2008 and if Kerry runs i don't want others to see the positive things he has done and give them reason for why they should vote for him over the person i support. HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

as if posting positive or negative things on DU will have any affect for the 2008 Primary elections.

these are the same people who bash Kerry when they don't hear from him and demand to know what he is doing and then bash him more for not doing what they want.

3. Did you see that post about "stop the kerry uproar"?
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 11:48 PM by XanaDUer
that was just posted? IS it pro or con?

If it is for stopping the crap anyone who gets something good about kerry (and there is a lot to post) gets crapped on, then I am all for it.

4. yeah, i responded
the person claimed every Kerry thread results in someone calling for Kerry in 08 and that brings about responses from those who don't agree.

but i responded in that post saying that most of the Kerry threads with him doing something positive have responses which commend him for whatever he is doing currently. but those who don't like Kerry bring up 08 out of nowhere themselves. even though the thread itself wasn't about 08.

8. not really
he claimed every Kerry thread seems to be followed by a Kerry in 08 thread which results in people bashing Kerry.

but that's not true. most Kerry posts are about what he is doing currently and commending him for that. the bashers just bring up 08 out of no where and start bashing him about how they wont support him in 08 even though it had nothing to do with 08.

7. It's psychotic
Because it claims there's all these hoards of Kerry '08 posters when there are absolutely NONE. I have such a fucking headache today. I haven't been this sick to my stomach since November. I am feeling pretty hopeless about our entire party.

9. it certainly is
i think a big reason is because DU has mostly been anti Kerry and for Kerry haters they got used to it and to see people who actually like Kerry posting positive things makes them feel like they are being "forced" in some way.

and that person who posted the thing about being forced to swear allegiance also posted during the Condi Rice hearings a thread about whether we people will stop supporting Kerry if he votes for Condi and finally see what a sell out he is.

10. If there are emails we hear "I'm sick of them" if there aren't we hear...
"why so quiet".

Eh, whatever. Damned if you do damned if you don't. Unless you're Barbara Boxer. And I'm still waiting for her to get attacked. It started a bit when she didn't vote the way they wanted her to on... oh hell, what was that bill? Now I can't remember. But I do remember the attacks starting like I knew they would.

12. A note
This is what the OP said, which I take as an implication that there's tons of Kerry '08 posts. But there's not. I didn't want to post this in that thread because the poster is being sort of sane.

"This would not be an issue if there wasn't this constant stream of Kerry on '08 posts and threads being shoved in our faces. Its the relatively small number of people who seem to have not come to grips with the unfotunate fact that Kerry indeed lost the race."

13. yes they are
it's kind of like those threads on DU ,especially during the primary where a supporter of one candidate would post about another candidate :

did candidate x really say "fill in something they expect people to be outraged over".

the purpose of the posts was usually to try to take away or keep people from supporting that person. but it really has no affect at all in a Primary election.
