How Many Remeber 388 Billion Omnibus Bill That Passed
You know the one where money went to the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, Research Fertilizer, Research Salmon in Baby Food, ect. Yes the bill was full of pork barrel spending. It had some things in it that was good but the bad overrid the good by a long shot. The bill was so big and had something like 3000 pages and thirteen bills crammed into one. Well I found a statement Kerry made as to why he would vote against it.

1. Is this the one they voted on just before the end of the last session?
The one that had abortion riders and such?

This might be the speech I saw him give on CSPAN.

I can't wait for the new session, btw. I will be watching for Kerry. I've never watched for people on CSPAN before. But I envy those people who have been paying attention for years.

2. This Is The One That Had
The bullshit in it where they wanted to pass with at first with a new law involved about anybody could look at your tax returns and it was sent back to the House for them to take out repass the bill and send it back to the senate. They argued till real late over this bill and Santorum got up and made a ass out of himself over it because he wanted to go home and Tom Harkin Got up right after that and made a fool out of him by laughing at him and saying he hope his blood pressure didn't get to high and started pointing out how damn selfish he was because what he wanted was in the bill but the farmers of Harkins state were being cut again. And would Santorum be willing to give up all that free pork barrel he was getting for his state.

3. I remember it well. When they got caught, Hastert swore they'd take the
'we can look at anybody's tax return' lines out of the bill. Did they do it I wonder? Not that they don't look at our tax bills anytime they want anyway.

5. He made a point of it, and standing up and saying why
He is a budget hawk after all. Never was much into pork, it appears.

3000 pages, and no one has a chance to read it. Greaaaat.

8. the statement JK made in the Senate

9. Oh yeah, that's right, it was the debt ceiling
I knew I saw something on CSPAN but I'd forgotten which. Thanks.

I know people were shocked that Hillary voted for that bill.

6. Actually....
Santorum is a piece of shit, just not three day old dog shit. Go to www.spreadingsantorum.com if you have a strong stomach and a dirty sense of humor. It's really, really disgusting, but really, really funny.
