Thread with Frist's description of the Senators' trip

1. I opened it. It gave me a headache and I figured it was just about Frist

It has Frist's reflections - which are pretty vapid - but in the process it described the Senators' time there. Interesting that Frist is so self obsessed that he doesn't mention a single Senator.

3. Oh, no. Post anything. I meant to agree with you about the snarky

paragraph comment. It made my head hurt (well, actually it already hurt but it made it hurt more) to see that huge page of writing with no paragraphs or separations at all.

Vapid is the right word for it. It so self indulgent that he doesn't even mention who he was with or talked to.

I would have liked to just hear where they stayed since it sounded like everything was full before they got there or from where were they watching the funeral.

He writes so much yet says absolutely nothing.

4. Actually it does give insight into a Republican challanger

When you compare it to Kerry's journal entries or to the many things Kerry's written to his list this year, the difference is enormous. He seems absolutely wrapped up in himself. Maybe the conversations were meant to be off record.

It'll be interesting to see if Kerry writes anything either on his Senate web site or the Johnkerry site - I'd love to read his impressions. I suspect his comments would be more colorful and insightful and for some reason, he actually puts things into paragraphs.

(I felt bad about the comment, because the person who put it up then added paragraphs. I hope he/she took the comment as directed against Frist.)
