These are some of the best pics I have ever seen. Whoever took these should forward copies to the Senator's office. They are wonderful! OMG! I have never seen the Senator look so, accessible, warm, engaged, happy, pick your adjective. Wow! Stunning images.

Does anyone know who took these? They are hands-down the most LLL-provoking pics I have yet seen ever. (Well, since the early 70's anyway.)

Didn't he spend the previous week and a half in Rome, Boston, Washington DC before going to Austin? While recovering from knee surgery?

He really does look happy. Maybe because of the size and enthusiasm of the crowd, or maybe even because, with the passage of the military amendments, he sees that the idea of involving people (activists) to get change seems to be viable. In an odd way, pushing people to petition the government positively and optimistically may be a part of Kerry. I think it may be that this is Kerry having fun being Kerry, with nothing to lose. It was also cool that they said he was welcomed so enthusiastically in Boston too.
