Cspan announces a Dem leadership rally outside capitol, 1:30 Eastern |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-26-05 12:26 PM by ginnyinWI
It will be on Cspan 3--supposed to have the Dem leadership of House and Senate. They showed the location briefly--a stage set up with red, white and blue bunting. Hope JK will be there--but it will be interesting regardless.
edit: oh forgot to say that the topic is to be Social Security ;)

3. Dems aren't due there until 2:30 |
|
They are all in their lunches until then. And JK is not scheduled to appear. He might be in the committee still, not sure.

Edited on Tue Apr-26-05 12:29 PM by ginnyinWI
It is a Dem leadership protest, with scheduled speakers: Reid, Pelosi, Rangel, and Durbin. Maybe more.
edit again: held in a park to the north of the Capitol.

that Dems can sign. Very good planning. Nice visual. Also, the crowd seems to be pumping up the speakers. So much fun!

the whole front row holding hands and swaying side to side! Some in the back rows just clapped. Kennedy was there, and Obama, no Kerry though.
