I like Obama too, but this has to mature a little bit.
Are there speaking at the Rainbow Push event in Chicago next week?
(does anybody know if there will be an online stream if anything to see Kerry and Clinton speak on Monday).

I had really hoped to hear more of that during the campaign. I love that guy! I cried and cried when he spoke.

I like him a lot. He is only 41 or so. I anticipate him getting better and better as a national speaker. And his convention speech was amazing. I'm glad that JK made him the keynote at his convention, the guy is wonderfully talented.

Great pics! Seeing these reminds me of a recent thing I saw on cspan (which I actually don't get to watch much, so I'm not too familiar with these proceedings - it was either on Bolton or filibuster I think, not sure. In the milling-about time, JK came in and was standing at a table, studying some documents spread out there, and most of the other Dems were pretty much ignoring him ("not interrupting" is probably a more accurate characterization). I was multi-tasking so I didn't see when Barack came in, but I happened to look up and - as I recall - saw him standing with his hand on JK's shoulder in warm conversation. JK returned the gesture as Barack left to join another group and JK went back to studying the documents.
It stuck with me because it seemed such a warm and friendly moment in what was otherwise dead-serious concentration by JK on the matter at hand. I got the impression that the two really like each other and Barack really respects JK. It was nice to see.
