I am getting so sick of the he should have waited to concede. The numbers weren't there and really still aren't. Don't they realize that Gore didn't win the fight - when the votes state wide in FL might well have been there.

In FL in 2000, they even said that if the election was termed too close to call, there would not be a revote, but it would go to the Republican state legislature to select electors. I believe Ohio may have been the same. If so, even if Kerry could have by Jan 6 proved beyond a reasonable doubt there was a reasonable likelihood of sufficient fraud to call the results in question in Republican dominated Ohio courts, it's not clear that there would be a new election. (In 2000, it was said the election could only take place on the official election day.)

The Democrats need to focus on fixing the problem for next time. This doesn't help Gore, who lost when he probably should have won or Kerry, who likewise may have lost when he really won. For both of them it was a bigger blow to their dreams then any of these angry message writers can imagine. How they think someone like Kerry and his whole family would work at the pace they did, opening up their lives for the world to see, only to cavalierly give up because he wants to do it over again in 4 years.

I alerted, I did not post on it, what is the use, they don't listen to reason they just continue to attack.

In my alert I said this is getting tiresome and on the whole is not doing this site a bit of good, if I wanted to read hate posts on Democrats I would go to Freeperland.

You know these posts are just like the ones that we called troll posts on the Kerryblog and they were not all from freepers, we had many certain candidate supporters disrupting a real conversation on important issues and news.

I know how to answer these posts, but here on DU I would be deleted because for some reason its alright to bash certain Democrats, but not alright to to set the basher straight. In one of my very first posts to one of these bashers who was really being stupid , I called him Undemocratic, and poof my post was gone. I thought it was a mild accusation and the way the poster was talking he deserved the statement. I had not one swear word or hate bashing in my statement just facts and my big mistake word Undemocratic.
