1. OMG
That was me 35 years ago, when my boyfriend (husband now) told me he joined the Navy. I yelled at him and asked why, why now, we had protested the Vietnam war, he was in college. Oh the memories. He was so afraid he would be drafted so he said he wanted to make his own choice of which service he wanted to join. I was devastated.

He was in Vietnam for 2 tours of duty, luckily he made it home, but some with him did not.

This is very powerful, and this is reality. :cry:
