OMFG
Have I been living under a rock in blissful unawareness, or is it new news that Jerome f***ing Corsi has become a PUNDIT???

It's been quite a while since I watched any MSM afternoon news shows, but I just saw him on Connected Coast to Coast paired up with the revolting Monica Crowley and talking about the - boo! scary! - oops, nonexistent - Iranian nuclear weapons program.

What a slimeball. What a world.

I'm about to trudge over to Crooks and Liars and ask them to put up a clip.

1. What balance!
A Nixon groupie and a RW lunatic. I'm so glad that we have such a liberal media. Monica at least has a respectable resume, but what has Corsi ever done but co-write a despicable book, slander Kerry repeatedly, and now write an utterly irresponsible book that is even more dangerous than the first.

I really wish the libel laws for public figures were such that Kerry could sue Corsi and O'Neil just based on a specified set of clearly dishonest claims. (I wonder if the fact that they had all these people sign affidavits attesting to misdeeds they knew of that were co-ordinated by the authors is part of the problem. )

2. I'll second your "OMFG". That is truly pathetic.
Was he Monica's guest? Was Ron on with a guest from his side also?

4. I didn't mean to mislead.

There was a fourth on Ron Reagan's side. Unfortunately, I don't remember who it was (which shows how strong they weren't).

Corsi is a slimeball. I didn't recognize him at first, just saw this slimy creep who couldn't even look at the camera straight. They referred to him as "Jerry", and it wasn't until they went to a commercial that I realized who he was.

My impression: my personal alarm bells were jangling off the hook. Now that Bolton is at the UN the right wing talking heads are working the Iran-nuke angle hard. The only up-side is that their credibility is blown so sky high that I don't see how they can carry through. "Jerry" was playing the same "good little zealot" he always does. (Also see this Steve Clemons post.)

I watched in the first place because I wanted to see what the current talking points are. The shrub's approval ratings are in the friggin' toilet. I can't see who's buying this stuff at this point. Is it a circular selling squad?

10. No problemo. How did he respond to the Wash Post article from
this morning? These people have no shame.

3. Geez, I thought that Corsi was busy getting ready for his 08 race
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 07:46 PM by TayTay
Okay, who votes for Corsi as man you would most like to use a Garlic Press on? (Crack it open, apply to a sensitive part of the body and s-q-u-e-e-z-e. Oh come on, it's not just me, I'm just articulating the wish.)

So MSNBC had people out turning over rocks today and Corsi oozed his slimy way out and managed to slither up into a chair to spew more brain-damaged musings about subjects he is completely ignorant about. Wow! What a guy! MSNBC should be so proud. They have surely met their 'Be Kind to a Whackjob' quota for the month with just this one interview.

I thought that Jerome was gearing up to challenge Sen. Kerry for his Senate seat in 2008. He has that whopping 7% recognition factor in Massachusetts after all. Oh please, little man, please come to Boston and challenge my greatly esteemed Jr. Senator for his seat. Oh please. Pinata-man, please come, we will need the laugh. Senator Kerry's recent SurveyUSA ratings indicate that he has 84% approval ratings from MassDems and every single one of them would sell their Grandmother to get a chance to take you out. Please stop going on shows with boot-licking, partisan, demented Rethug whores and come out and face us like the snake-bellied beast you are.

What a putz!

Geez, Whome! George Allen and Jerome Corsi posts in one day. Are you trying to give me high blood pressure woman?

5. See, you didn't think anyone could make Allen look only mildly bad
but Corsi can. I wonder if he has even visited Massachusetts since threatening Kerry with unseating him. I really would have loved to be a mind reader when Russert asked Kerry about it - getting only a laugh and a grin and some comment to the effect that he wasn't concerned.

Could you imagine the debate (s) between a very distinguished Senator and a deranged freeper. Add that Corsi, in the book jacket photo is as ugly as Bolton - and he got to pick the photo.

7. Whome, tomorrow I get just pic threads
I can't take any more Allen/Corsi days.

Holy Mawtha a Gawd, woman, what are you doing to me? I am reduced to posting bad poetry and revenge fantasies.

Have mercy woman, have mercy.

9. Better, better, heart-beat returning to normal
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 08:16 PM by TayTay
Redness draining from my face. Smile creases my lips. Ah, my beloved Navy Dress White pic. (Feeling much better.)

And a pic with Theo. Ah, you know me well my dear. I still have my red, white and blue
Kerry
Red Sox
We Believe!
sign. And Tom Werner signed it and my Boston cap that had the 'Another Red Sox fan for Kerry' button on it. That was a great day! Okay, all is forgiven.

By the way, I just got my 12 DVD set of the ALCS and World Series games (And a bonus DVD) of last season's miracle in the mail today. 35 hours of pure Red Sox bliss (Okay, 8 games of bliss and 3 that we had to endure to get to the sweet part, but still.) I can pop this in the ole DVD player anytime I have a bad day (or see Sen. Allen) and relive the ultimate revenge fantasy that was the ALCS Game 7. (Really, I am a nice person. You met me. I don't eat babies or anything. I just have these 'hot buttons' that can get pushed and I go mental. Sen. Allen, the Yankees, Corsi. Sigh!)

I wonder if there is a pic of the 'Silver Star Day' that shows Sen. Kerry head to toe. That would be very, very nice.

13. That, my dear, is Theo Epstein,
general manager and boy wonder of the Red Sox front office. He is a Boston god, so it is fitting that Kerry have his arm around him.

Actually, Theo is not bad either.

Maybe I should move to Boston, they seem to have some good looking men there. Oh yeah, I'm married for 24 yrs. sigh!

11. Thank God I'm at work and can't see it
Post about this out in GD. I think we need to protest that this person is a bigot and doesn't belong punditing anywhere.

Anyway. Good thing I couldn't see that, or I'd have to put my eyes out. Ack.

I wonder if he's still trying to run against Kerry in 2008.
