Isn't it amazing that some of these people believe that no one genuinely likes John Kerry of their own free will? I swear they've drunk the koolaid of the RNC-sponsored Kerry smears; that or they never got over his owning of Dean in the primaries.

Have you noticed that some of the people posting such dribble have these low Post counts??? Is it me or does that in it's own right seem kinda Freepish? It might just be me, I don't know. I do know I registered with DU on October 2, and I have well over 800 posts in just that time alone. I Understand that some people aren't online as much as I am, some people have lives LMAO. I don't know to me that seems to have "FREEPER" written all over it, and they are only trying to do more Damage. What is even sadder? They don't realize their selected Party and Chimp they elected are the ones doing all the damage... youre a friend of a friend. I can't believe we have to feel sort of ashamed for actually liking our nominee. I admit it here, I'd support the two DU favorites of the primaries, Dean and Clark but I like Kerry a lot better, why? because I actually know his history, I feel he's good all around, and there's just something about Kerry that those guys don't have. Don't get me wrong, I'd support them but they're not nearly as good to me as Kerry is, no offense to anyone who supported them.

Anyway, I'd have to say also, that I love Hilary, and she represents my state, but if a primary were to come down to her and John, I am firmly footed in the Kerry camp. I must say. Your openness about your Dad has been so amazing. I can't even imagine what you and your family have gone through-I can only thank you for sharing it. I do know he would be so proud of you. We're fighting the good fight, and thanks to people like you we will win it. From reading your posts I've learned even more about John Kerry's Vietnam experiences (I was much more focused on his diplomatic abilities and the willingness of foreign leaders to talk with him before the election). Continue to be cynical. There is such an amazing shortage of critical thinkers in this country now. Please don't be afraid to keep people on their toes.

And thanks. Your post and JohnKleeb's post really made me realize how friendship and unity sometimes come from unusual places. If this farce of an administration has done anything worthwhile, it's got the "good guys" united again. I don't know what I'd have done the last month without DU, especially my new friends here. :grouphug: I'll try to be less sappy from here on, but no promises.

I'm sorry that I'm not paranoid enough to think that Kerry was in this to lose or that he conceded to early. I know that Kerry is an acquired taste be he oozes nothing but decency to me. Yes I support him, and unless he does something unspeakable, I'll always support him.

They wouldn't know a DNC operative if they kicked them right square in the ass. These people are so ignorant around here at times. I wouldn't want to meet them in person because the first time they started running their mouth about Kerry and making nasty remarks like they do on these boards I would floor there ass! It has already happen once and I almost went to jail over it.

I was with my mom shopping the day before Thanksgiving. I was wearing a Kerry/Edwards t-shirt. Anyway this woman seen my shirt and screamed out at me and called me a dumbass. She said "your a dumbass to support a war criminal, faggot lover, and baby killer". Hell before I even thought I had already knocked the woman on her ass. My mom grabbed me after that. But lucky for me this elderly lady seen and heard what happen. Because the security was called on me and the woman I hit started screaming she wanted to press charges and I hit her. But the elderly woman went over to the security guard and said sir I seen what happen here and this woman is crazy. This lady was shopping minding her own business when this woman started screaming very nasty offensive remarks at her. When the guard asked her over what the elderly woman told him because of this and pointed to my shirt because the lady has since enough to support a man that has a brain unlike the idiot that is sitting in the White House and couldn't exist if someone didn't lead him around on a leash and think for him that fool can't even chew bubble gum and walk at the same time.

The guard couldn't help it but he started laughing at what the elderly lady said. He said mam what happen after she screamed at this lady. The elderly lady said well this lady told her not to worry about who she supported she better worry about that fool she elected(which I never said a word) and this crazy woman went to say something else and and tripped over those cans sitting in the aile. Well when she said that the woman I hit went crazy and started screaming calling her a liar and a dumbass. The guard told her to be quiet he had already heard her side of the story he was still talking to the elderly woman. She screamed out at the guard and he called for back up and they escorted her out of the store and she was barred from the store.

Then the guard that was talking to us told us not to worry about she was taken care of. You ladies finish shopping and I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving and come back. Then he turned to the elderly woman and said and you little lady need to calm down there for a minute i thought I was going to have to slap the cuffs on you and laughed. After it was all over and the guard left the elderly lady told me honey I was glad to see you floor that bitch she deserved every bit of it. Then she told my mom you need her around all the time and god help us all with that fool in the White House can you believe we have that many dumb people in this country. I would have never believed they would re-elect someone that can't even chew bubble gum and walk at the same time.

That was one time had it not been for a nice elderly lady telling a lie I would have went to jail. But that little woman was a Kerry supporter coming to the rescue of another.

I'm not a violent person who goes around looking for trouble trust me. But that was one time I let my temper overload my ass and I'm not proud of it either. This election has been so emotional for alot of people and I have seen many say and do things they normally wouldn't. I'm sure the lady that came to my rescue normally didn't cuss or lie the way she did in the store. She was just to nice a lady for that.

I try to ignore idiots like the one that screamed at me. Normally if someone would do something like that I would laugh but after all the emotion fron this election and what she said I just lost it. And I still havn't gotten over this election yet that is why it is best I'm not around people like her. That is also why I'm stayin away from the other forums for a while. I can't take all the fighting and nastiness anymore.
