http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x2063611This will become a flame war. I haven't responded yet myself because unfortunately I think the fundraisers FOJK has hired are pretty lousy (if they are doing what they are accused of).

it is dying and don't want to make it in the forefront again. The poster wants to discuss crap like this when so much more is going on in this country, and the Repubs are responsible, and he wants to demean Dems. The workers for John Kerry and friends are just that, they have no contact with Kerry.
The ones who post this crap are so clueless. What are they doing to change things in this country. All I see is rhetoric coming from a Monday morning quarterback behind a keyboard.
To bad the poster doesn't think kids and getting Rove are important. :argh:

I posted a few times (to counteract some total bullshit) and let it go.
I realized after I posted this that not many people care about this today, so it will hopefully sink on its own.

2. alert on it as flamebait |
|
really, that's the best response you can make .
there's no point in trying to "discuss" anything with these posters, their objective is disruption. Don't give them the pleasure of wasting your time. Hit alert.

In the last couple of days I alerted on a couple things that the mods apparently didn't agree with me on (and one they did).
I don't want to pester the mods. I'm afraid to alert too often if I'm not sure because then they might think *I'm* the troublemaker. (I've seen too many things here that I don't understand, so I'm wary.)
If you think this should be alerted, please do it though.

4. I often wonder if they're really trolls |
|
Dem trolls or Repub trolls just posing as "Greens" to stir up people. And I think people are too naive to realize they're being played.

6. What I don't understand |
|
is why anti-Democrat lefties (Greens or whatever) are allowed to post here, at "Democratic" Underground, with their "dime's worth of difference" stuff. I'm sympathetic to Green causes too - I just wish they'd stop undermining Democrats (which enables Republicans). They should find the best Dems they can and focus their efforts on empowering those, and running Greens for office in local races where there's no credible Demcratic candidate. AND getting ranked-choice voting instituted.
But no, many of them would rather piss and moan at Dems in power. As if it really gets them anywhere to bitch about powerful Democrats like Kerry, except their own self-satisfaction.

7. frankly it's the "grass is always greener" |
|
(get it *greener*) on the other side. If those "greens" they voted for did the same thing "dems" did (Like Dean) they'd 'piss' on them too. I guess they like to water the grass and make it greener!
