You know, I post stuff over at Kos on occasion. Reid & Pelosi hosting the Katrina victims. They pulled the DoD IG from Iraq so there's no public oversight at all anymore. Edwards' project opportunity. In the scheme of things, it's much much more important than this Kerry statement. And yet, this statement has gotten 160 comments and I don't know how many recommends.

Don't you think that's sad? His speech to get out of Iraq got less attention.

Has anybody watched Nora O'Donnell on MSNBC? I read that she was being a real snit to Murtha.

It's just like one big junkyard fight and that's all anybody really wants.

But people are starting to come around. Seems to me that there are a whole lot fewer rabid dogs around these days.

The media whores do love a good junkyard fight. But the polls say the people are feeling a lot differently about it these days. With Iraq and Katrina at the forefront of peoples' minds, I think they are showing a definite impatience with the lust for blood that defines media coverage. I think by 2008 Kerry is going to look better and better. Calm, competent and rational sounds good to me.
