of course apart also. but watching them walk down together with their arms around each other they just looked two handsome men.

Did you see the way the Chimp picked up Jackson's son ? yuk.

someone said this in the other thread on this, but Jackson's little daughter Jessica really is very beautiful.

There are two fine looking men. I love how at the end of the press conference Rep. Jackson turned the Iraq discussion around and related it back to Rosa Parks. That was great.

6. Holy smoke! He just gets better and better and better!

He's damn good with reporters. And they LOVED him. The way they gathered around him even after he was finished... major shift here. Or is it? Kerry bashing from the media was not apparent among these folks. Interesting. Maybe the slant is dictated from a higher level. Reporters turn in the footage and the interviews and then someone makes it into "news." And the news is slanted to the GOP perspective. Maybe the problem with the media doesn't originate with the reporters, but with the decision makers.

The bad news is that the top layer is bad, but we already knew that. The good news is that maybe, just maybe, the rot doesn't go all the way through. Just a thought.

It seemed to me that JK looked incredibly popular for a guy the media doesn't like. They followed him like he was a rock star.

I think people are hungry for leadership. And Kerry's a natural leader who tells the truth. So refreshing! I'll bet the press agrees.

This morning I caught a bit of Scotty's WH press briefing. Afterward, the same thing happened as every time I've seen it lately: he walked out, and the press group started laughing amongst themselves. I heard one say, "unbelieveable".

13. Watching Kerry with the Press

I thought it was great - better than great - the best!

It was the first time the press was gathered around him and was able to shout out one question after another with him.
Kerry was so at ease. His answers were right on target. And the press seemed to be enjoying getting the opportunity as much as Kerry was enjoying being the center of attnetion.
