1. Ahm, geez, when you put it directly

ahm, not really. Not at this moment. (Okay, now my face is getting red. We are having a minor tiff over something that we can't even define yet. Oh boy, that's embarrassing.)

We are trying to get a structure in place that will allow you to do whatever it is that you want to do better and more efficiently. We are trying to see if there are people out there in the great wide world who can help us do that to maximum effect. However, they are all going to go on Christmas break at the end of the week, so have some patience. More things will happen in January.

And geez, did you ever nail what happened in that brief phrase. I'm embarrassed again. You used like under 25 words to say what took me hundreds. I am a friggin geeky bastid. Sorry.

2. Ok. I poured through the snark thread...

you guys need to get some serious sleep and then revisit this after the holidays. I am hopeful that sleep will heal the breach - and some well placed words of apology on all sides... maybe?

The written word can be so difficult to interpret sometimes - nuance is hard to communicate and is mostly lost. It is so easy to get the wrong impression when humor is trying to be conveyed.

I apologize for anything I did that made it seem like I was putting on airs and pretending to be anything more than TayTay, your basic garden-variety Masshole. Sorry.

And I love you guys. I loved, loved, loved talking about the people behind the sigs on that card. All kidding and humor attempts aside, that brought tears to my eyes. I was so unbelievably honored and humbled to do that. It meant the world to me. And it was so obvious that that card touched John Kerry. I swear, that is my memory of this weekend. (Well, that and the 'Are we there yet?' moment on the stage.)

4. And that's the amazing bit for me. And sort of surreal

I guess the message we will help him to get out is the same message he's been trying to get out for months, and that we've been trying to help him get out for months, though in a way that was unconnected to him, and unbeknownst. Stuff like health care, a sane plan for Iraq, and stuff like that there.

If we can do that more efficiently in some way, cool beans. At least now he knows we're willing, and we're here.

We'll just have to be cool, and do the Christmas thing, and wait for orders from on high.

I am thrilled for all of you. Wonderful moments in time as you all experienced this past weekend come around infrequently.Enjoy, no one has anything to apologize for and no one should feel bad for being even a little bit jealous- it's normal. You seriously asked the essential question that summed everything up. What happens next? The answer is a little wimpy right now, we are not sure. (We are in recovery for Post Cinderella Stress Disorder.) Ahm, we will figure it out, probably in a bumpy way, and together we will figure out what we want to do.
