New email: Thank you to the johnkerry.com community
Just checked my email and found this, thought I'd post it here in case anyone is still not receiving the email. (And for the lurkers. :hi:)

Dear ---,

We want to collectively thank each and every member of the johnkerry.com community for an extraordinary effort to strengthen our campaigns as veterans running for Congress in 2006.

In a short three-day period, thousands of people came together to raise almost $400,000 in direct support for our House races. It was a powerful display of the energy, passion and effectiveness of the johnkerry.com community.

And we want you to know that each of us is personally moved and deeply grateful for this exceptional show of support. Today in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Minnesota, and around the country, your online community's willingness to reach out and help is having a meaningful impact.

We are fighting to have our voices heard in Congress. Thanks to you we are closer to meeting that goal.

Sincerely,

Tammy Duckworth (IL-06)
Patrick Murphy (PA-08)
Joe Sestak (PA-07)
Tim Walz (MN-01)
Jay Fawcett (CO-05)

3 days, $400,000 !!!

To John Kerry, his PAC staff, and everyone who donated:

1. OMG! I believe the Senator pledged to raise $500,000
for this effort this year. They have 4/5ths of it in less than a week? OMG! Wow! I'm impressed. (Hear that you Washington insiders! Yeah, beat that people.)

3. Oh, but of course, this has nothing to do with Senator Kerry
anyone with this list could raise that kind of money. :sarcasm:

5. Yeah, right. Cuz when other people sent out appeals
they also got $400,000 in 4 days or so. The Dems are now so bursting with money that all other fundraising for the year has been cancelled. (OMG, 4 days? Wow! That is amazing. Senator Kerry is not running for anything and he was asking for money for people that are unknowns. That is extremely significant. Big trust factor there.)

BTW, the Dems do have their own list at the DNC. That huge database is called DemZilla and *is* used for fundraising apeals. Sen. Kerry just trumped it in his appeal.
