And thank you! I've been lurking for while. I am so glad to have found a group that recognizes John Kerry as the great man and leader/statesman that he is. Once again, hope lights my days and nights as I see wise and compassonate action even in these dark times.

It is so sad how certain supporters of certain candidates spewl so much hate. The OP is as I guessed before I even read it, is not friendly toward JK and never will be. The thing they are missing, if they actually stepped back and looked , is what they are doing now is exactly the spewl they did back in the primaries. It didn't work then and it won't work now. What they fail to respond to is why THEIR candidate lost, it is never that he did a bad job, you only here excuses and the blame game.

And I am so glad that the diary I posted about is long gone (thank you BeachMom for pointing that out). Isn't it ironic though, that like the supporters of Bush who have to completely disregard the facts in order to support him, those who once supported John Kerry but now disparage him also have to completely disregard the facts. They have more in common with the Bushies than they realize! And they think they are so above that sort of thing.

I decided to join you because last night I was reading Larry Dossey's new book "The Extraordinary Healing Power of Ordinary Things" and in the chapter on risk he notes that "...people who experience spontaneous remission from cancer often do so after taking up habits that are totally foreign to their temperament, and which frequently involve considerable physical risk." And that set me to thinking about my life and how incredibly safe I keep myself. So when I saw that blasphemous diary on DailyKos this morning, I thought that the first risk I would take today would be to post about it here. My good, as it turns out. outside of this group the Kerry posts often recieve the type of responses you see on Kos. not as bad as Kos, but there are always some.

this group is a good way to get away from all that.
