6. You're welcome. JK is great at these small events. He is so relaxed and |
|
he obviously enjoys the attention and chatting with folks one-on-one. And the kids! You can tell how much he loves kids and vice versa. I could see him as a Little League coach or something like that if he weren't such a busy senator. It is nice to see how people actually react to him; a reality check from the perceptions you get from the MSM.

Looks like the lighting in that room was much better than the lighting in the ballroom on December 11th.
I love the photo of JK and the kid in the LL Bean field jacket (in the last link you posted). They showed a bit of JK,the kid and his mother on Cspan (when JK was working the crowd after his speech) and it was so sweet. The kid was like a mini-JK complete with field jacket, power tie, etc. Must be one highly intelligent young man!

5. That little boy is adorable! Can you tell who his hero is? |

It was a great time, even better before the cameras started rolling. No C-SPAN at the pre-event reception, which made it nice.
TayTay's description of the food is accurate. On the upside: it was a good night to start a diet.

Now, I never have to worry about getting another pic with the Senator. It has been done. I can go about my business at events like this and leave the poor man alone. (I have a pic. Yeah! That's gonna do until my hair starts turning grey and no one believes it's me. Then I'll think about getting another one.)
BTW, a good time was had by all. I loved the kids, I adored that woman who managed to get teenagers to make 27,000 calls and I really liked the main speaker. He was awesome. The meal however, was not something I would wish on ya, unless I was really mad at you. It was, ahm, a bit heavy. (I don't think I finished digesting it until Tuesday. Sigh!)
