Guess what I saw at the University of Toronto library today??? |
|
While on the 10th floor of the central library (we have like 10 libraries on campus) I spotted a copy of our very own Senator John Kerry's "The New War", sitting there with all the books on terrorism and crime. It gave me a smile while I searched for whatever I could find for a paper on Russian organized crime.
How 'bout that? All the way up here in Canada, eh?

2. I think the dedication in that book is just lovely. |

To my parents, Richard and Rosemary, who taught me to look beyond our shores and in all directions. To my daughters, Alexandra and Vanessa, who I pray will live their adult years in a safer, more peaceful world. And to my wife, Teresa, who has brought new understanding, commitment and meaning to my life.
The rest of the book is good, too. :-)

I don't know how anyone could think he's boring and wooden. The hard part is it's hard to work things like a book dedication into your campaign without looking like a flagrant panderer.

would that his prayer for his daughters had come true. His words for Teresa are really incredible.
