Hopefully with something positive to contribute. I really screwed up the 'Hidden Cost of Oil' hearing today, cuz I got called away at work. (Wonky hearing chockful of numbers. But it was really good stuff and was an amazing backup to what Sen. Kerry says when he talks about the cost of our present oil-based foreign policy. I think I will write something up on it after I get the transcript tomorrow. I will aim for 2 pages, not a damn novel, promise.)

I am really looking forward to this hearing. At the very least, it will be great political theater.

from these hearings is always so helpful. I'm so very tempted to call in sick (at least for the morning) but ...
