Been passing along the 10 point plan. It's been getting some good reviews so far, but there are some that say it really isn't a plan, just explanations. "That is their (democrats) job" someone told me.
They want to know exactly how are Dems going to accomplish these things.
(I was afraid to say who came up with it, cause I know Kerry's name isn't popular with those who were ABB).

1. Send them to the DNC website. |
|
While Kerry is defining what is important to him, he is not in a position at this point to define what can be done any more than any other single Democrat. It is the DNC, the DSCC and DCCC who define the plans.

2. Get Democrats elected first then |
|
we can implement an agenda.
Politicasista, much of this agenda is filed in Congress. The Rethugs won't let this out of Committees. Perhaps a good project would be to match the agenda items with the legislation that has already been filed but ignored. We know that bills languish in the Senate on:
Health care (KidsFirst) Small Business Reform Election Reform Requests for Accountability hearings (DSM letter)
and so forth. There is a real agenda but we have to be elected in order to get it.

3. First they want sound bites |
|
Then they want in-depth policies. These people are just idiots who don't know what the fuck they want.
This is the sound bite, by the way, they got rave reviews in the Luntz focus groups. Just ignore the idiots, they're a combination of anti-Dems, 2008 operatives, and right wing plants.
