Earlier I posted a link to a TalkLeft post (
http://www.talkleft.com/new_archives/007393.html) I discovered when I googled Rikki Klieman, who sandnsea had mentioned, and who I'd never heard of. (I need to get out more, I guess).
I happened to read the comments and was struck by the enthusiasm of one commenter, named Kevin Hayden, for John Kerry:

Yes, Kerry will govern closer to his heart than to his campaign and a fine, ethical heart it is.
It displays electoral courage to remove it from the platform. Go, John!!!!!!
(the TalkLeft post was about Kerry having support for the death penalty removed from the Dem platform...something that at the time made me feel all warm and fuzzy that I had made Kerry my first choice.)
So anyway I clicked on Kevin's name, found his blog, clicked around a little bit and found he does some web design and stuff. One of his current projects is a new political blog that will focus on Oregon politics, that should become active just about any day now from the looks of it:
http://www.wagontongues.com/So I thought of sandnsea! I don't know for sure that Kevin will be blogging there or if he is setting it up for others, but anyway maybe you can at least get LUTD linked in. And I thought you might enjoy it anyway.
BTW some further reading of Kevin's main blog, The American Street (
http://www.reachm.com/amstreet/index.php), reveals that recently he was preferring Feingold / Edwards for 2008, but has made some nice posts about Kerry (along with at least one that was somewhat critical but not terrible.)
Of course some of you all may know Kevin or about Kevin already...it seems he's been around the blogs for awhile....but anyway I thought this was an interesting find so thought I'd share it with you all.
