Thanks for all the feedback. I wanted to take a moment to respond with some quick thoughts:

First, to the question Doofus asked (and yes I'm chuckling at that name) -- I have addressed my vote in 2002. Many times. It was the vote I regret most. It was a mistake. I trusted the promises made about diplomacy and I trusted intelligence we now know was overhyped beyond belief. No, I didn't trust Don Rumsfeld, I trusted Colin Powell who is a Vietnam vet and whose judgment I took seriously.

I can't change any of that. I take responsibility. That's partly why I am working to end the war and get our troops home in 2006. Watch the Senate floor next week for more on this.

Next -- just to recap; my thought on Ann Coulter is that we don't just get ticked off, we need to make her a liability and force the media to hold her accountable rather than just cover her as 'colorful.' Olberman did a great job on this.

Left a comment at HuffPost. I have no idea when it will show up.

The last time Sen. kerry posted on DKos, some of the posters took him to task for not asking the DKos folks TO DO something. (They were asking for an action plan.) According to these folks, some of whom were very nice about it, the post read more like a press release than a call for action.

Read these lines form the HuffPost article:

Get on the phone to any television program that has Ann Coulter on, and demand they press her not on her callous attacks, but on which recommendations of the 9/11 Commission she thinks should be forgotten. Which ports does she think should be left unsecured. Make the 9/11 widows' issues follow this fool everywhere she goes.

And take Peter Daou's cue -- he's got a very smart take on this: make the Republicans who think Coulter's so witty own her repellant words. Read what Peter wrote at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peter-daou/tim-russert-will-you-ask_b_22447.html Make her a liability -- and test whether the GOP is ashamed of Ann Coulter, or just embarassed by her.

22. I suspect it is due to number of previous posts

We've noticed in the past that our posts defending Kerry take a long time to go thru. As some pro-Kerry posts do go thru I don't think they are intentionally delaying them.

My suspicison is that they allow people who have posted a certain number of posts have their posts go thru immediately, while they screen posts from those of us who don't comment there often. Maybe we should all be posting lots of comments there so that maybe our comments will go thru more quickly when it matters (such as with the Kerry posts).

heard about her ugly words. Many Repubs actually said she went to far. However, baldy on Imus thought she had some good points. And, Hannity embraced her and broadcasted her book signing yesterday on his program. He is another phony rightious person in need of being called out for his true self. I can't see how anyone could condone her statements.
