1. You know, we could solve all the world's problems if we could harness |
|
the negative energy of trolls and convert it to good.

|
Trolls to the right of us, Trolls to the left of us, Trolls in front of us Volleyed and thunder'd; Storm'd at with lies and spin, Boldly we jump right in, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell, Ride the Kerrycrats!

But brought a tear to my eye. That was my husbands favorite poem! "The charge of the Light Brigade" (right?) or was that just the name of the movie? Also his favorite movie, oh, "Gunga Din"? He could recite the poem by heart. I miss him so.... I guess there's just too much going on in my mind, because I'm suffering from CRS disease lately. (can't remember shit!) We are on "countdown" for newest granchild now, and preparing for a baby shower tomorrow. love! DC

6. Gunga Din is a great poem too. I read part of it lately because it |
|
reminded me of John Kerry forgiving Jim Webb for all those years of refusing to shake his hand. You know: that line about "you're a better man than I am..." Your husband must have been a wonderful man, DC.
You have CRS disease too? Lot of it going around. My daughter says I've always had it, but I think it's worse lately. :D
Congrats on the new grandchild! I became a grandma last summer for the first time. What a feeling! Boy or girl?

8. Thanks!! It's going to be a boy!! |
|
His name will be Aidan Leigh ++++++++++. Very Irish daddy and family. He's not due until Aug. 8th (C Section), but Dr. thinks my daughter will go earlier because baby is competing with a tumor that is growing just as fast as he is. He's already over 4 lbs. There has already been back labor and "braxten hicks" pain. sooooooooo......as soon as she goes into active labor they will take him. Tumor is benign and must go even if they have to do a Hysterectomy or partial. That's why this baby is so important to all of us, it may be their only one. Everyone keep good thoughts for them, and I'll let you know when it happens. I'm going to be babysitting when she goes back to work after 8 wk. maternity leave. It's been a long time since I held a baby. My other grandchildren (12) are all just about grown! I have a grandson in the Air Force, his sister is in the Navy training to be a medic, and one just graduated from college, and another from high school. Now do you understand why I have CRS disease????:silly: :eyes:

9. Wow, that's an awesome family! 12 grandchildren! |
|
You must be a very proud grandmother.
Aidan Leigh: I love this name. A strong Irish boy and growing fast. I'll keep the little guy, his mom and his grandmom in my thoughts. You are going to have so much fun babysitting. I hadn't held a baby since my daughter was little and boy was it great to hold that little one (also an Aug. baby, born on the 23rd of last year)!

11. Oh, I remember that feeling so very well! |

My oldest son and his wife presented me with my first grandchild, a girl. When I held her in my arms the first time and realized that this was my baby boys' baby, words could not describe it, as I'm sure you well know!! When you're young and having your own kids, you're too busy being a "good mother" and doing everything right, without an instruction booklet!! When I think back, it's amazing that all of my kids (7)from two marraiges....are in one piece, and relatively mentally balanced!! LOL We drank(in moderation) we smoked, we took meds that we shouldn't have, and boy did I drink coffee !! I still do. Anyway, thanks for your good thoughts and prayers, and hopefully maybe I can even manage to get a picture to you all of Aidan. :loveya: DC

Are you going to listen to Ed? If so, then I don't want to hear the rant later.
