I just saw on the news that y'all had some really nasty weather this afternoon. I had a half day off today and almost made a run up to Chesapeake - I'm glad I didn't now. Hope you're both okay.

There's been some flooded roads (rural, country ones), and we had a pretty good thunderstorm early this evening (and it's raining now), but I think my house is on fairly high ground. But yeah, there's definitely going to be more flooding and I'll probably not venture out tomorrow and stay close to home. Damn, we've had a lot of rain. How about you?

We had a wicked storm this afternoon. Lots of wind and rain. I feel sorry for folks who picked this as their week for vacation. It's been nasty all week. Yikes! I just hope it drys out some before the brunt of the hurricane season arrives.
