MassEquality ad: Guess who signed
Edited on Mon Jul-10-06 11:09 AM by TayTay
Remember last year when everyone said that Sen. Kerry had sold out on Gay Rights and was not a supporter of Mass Equal Marriage Rights. (This is what local call Gay Marriage, btw, Marriage Equality.)

Check out the ad that ran in the Boston Globe today. Pay special attention to the signatories:

The ad states:

The Massachusetts Constitution, the nation’s
first and oldest, has stood as a beacon for fair and equal treatment under
the law for every citizen. I believe we should not write discrimination into
the Constitution, and I oppose efforts to amend the Constitution that would
take away rights, including the right of gay and lesbian citizens to marry.
I urge the Legislature to reject the proposed constitutional amendment and,
instead, move on to other important issues like strengthening the economy,
improving our schools and protecting our neighborhoods.

Solomont. The Grossmans. John Sasso. This Cameron Kerry guy. Gee, too bad nobody associated with the Senator signed it :sarcasm:

1. But, but,.... he did not sign.
:sarcasm:

Is there any reason why none of our DC elected officials signed it.

2. It was a businessman's endorsement
so, it wasn't for the elected Reps. (Okay, Businessmen and leading academics.)

But still, recognize a lot of those names?
