Thanks, CC, Ms. Toad and F. Gordon
All I needed was that email address and password and now I can add photos to my SmugMug gallery. Before when I went straight to my gallery page, it wouldn't show me the "tools." Anyway, I've got it now, so watch for some new ones in there from me, and thanks again.

2. Leads me to believe he's been lurking here all along...
...and just not saying anything.

3. Maybe, but then I can't say much
since there are times I do the same. Sometimes just busy or in a quiet mood but have to keep up on things and well in this group can't stand the idea of missing a great photo.

4. When have you known me not to have anything to say?
Not lurking. We did this little "skipping Christmas" thing. Checked in today and read as much as I could. Looks like lots of new toys in the stockings for a few..... some great photos.... I added my last "Zen Moment" snap for 2005 in smugmug. Haven't removed the lens cap for quite awhile. Took this frozen lake snap at sunset.... need to re-do it and remove some distracting stuff... but it is what it is for now. I'm waaaaaay behind with my snaparoonis. Will try to load up my smugmug gallery in the next week or two.

Hope you and others will do the same soon. Look forward to seeing more photographs...

5. There something to add to my
to do list. Pick out pics for smugmug. And go out in the cold wet and take pics. Love the Zen Moment pic. So where are your NJ.PA pics?

6. Still waiting on my slides
And if I see my infrared stuff before the summer I'll be shocked. I plan on breaking the NJ/PA stuff in 5 groups. Working on my "history" expedition right now. My other "problem" is that I've just recently FOUND my scanner film/slide adaptor.

When I bought the scanner I stuck it away and thought I lost it. Quite by accident I found it so I've been looking for all my old negs and slides and have been doing some decent digitizing with the scanner and adaptor. Can go 2400dpi over 150meg tifs that makes my computer really cry.....but the quality has been awesome.

I'm a nostaligic kinda guy so I've been having fun "bringing to life" all my early stuff that I haven't seen in 30 years or so.

And yes... get your smugaphugalug going. Good project for a cold snowy eve......

7. Hope you get your infrared
before summer. Ouch on having to wait so long. Glad you found your scanner. Though must say I have not hooked mine up and when I do no one may see me for a while.

"And yes... get your smugaphugalug going."
Done...have a gallery added and all. It did double one picture, I know I didn't upload it twice. So if you see it and want to delete it I wouldn't mind. I also went through and looked at all the other great photos on the site. I have to remember to check it more often, getting a large assortment of great photos there.

8. Damn. You're good. Excellent photographs
And smugafugalugamug has a new feature? A "filmstrip" thingee. Hadn't seen that. Kewl.

I hope I deleted the correct photo. I seem to screw things up when ever I use the delete button.

I'm waiting to use my other infrared film till I get this current stuff back. I was reading a thing that said you can screw up the entire roll of film if you load it in sunlight. Can "fog" the entire strip. Course' I read this AFTER I bought the friggin' stuff :eyes:

Maybe I should post the "member galleries" in the Lounge once in awhile. I agree. The quality and assortment of photos kicks butt on some of those fancy dancy places on the internets.

9. Yes you
deleted the right photo. I swear I didn't upload it twice, only because it was so far from where I did the second set.

Thank you on liking them, still a lot to learn but the advantage to digital, you can take LOTS of pics to find one decent one.

On the sun and infrared film thing, ummm hate to say but everywhere I read said the pain to infrared film was having to load and unload your camera in complete darkness. Part of why when finding my digital would do IFR I jumped for joy and got the filter. Hoping your pics turn out anyway. If you are going to do IF film you might want to look for a bag to load and unload you camera in. I saw them on some IR sites. (Do not ask where, I went to digital pretty fast. sorry.)

The posting the members gallery in the lounge is a great idea but also tourism and photography. There are a few different galleries on there and not all are listed on the one section. Thanks for offering the smugafugalugamug site to use.
