Local river house

Took the shot on a hike last week. Probably the last of that 400 speed film I will shoot. I got a bunch for christmas after I got my camera and have used most of it up. I'll leave the rest for the Yashica. I'm going back to slide film. Years ago I used to shoot Kodachrome 64 exclusivly but I'm going to try the Fuji Velvia 100 and see what it does.

1. where was this one taken?

Looks like a neat place. I bet in the fall when the leaves all turn and reflect on the water that this would be a great place to take a few snaps. Looks like a pretty grey sky too, unfortunately. Still its fascinating with the trees that seem to want to dangle their branches in the water.

2. It was taken in western CT..............

near my home. There's a nice trail that runs along the river on the right side. The day was overcast and very cold. That house actually sits on a little island in the middle of the river. The only way to it is by boat.
