1. Show-off...!
I'm getting serious D200-envy here...

BTW, do you know any more about the photographer statue? It looks like it's modeled on a real person, right down to the shoes (which look like either Topsiders or Wallabies to me -- which would likely date the model from the late '60s to early '80s). Was this on public or private property? If the latter, I almost wonder if it's a memorial to a departed family member, perhaps a son or brother who was into photography.

2. I will find out more about this statue.

It recently appeared at the entrance of an new, upscale condo development.
There is no plaque (yet), but I agree. It could be a memorial.

The camera appears to be a real 35mm that has been painted.
Can anyone Name That Camera?

I will have to drop by their office for more info.

4. Pixies!!!
:9

I was going to commend you on your courage at getting those great bee photos until I saw your focal length. I get nervous as hell when I go "macro" on a bee since I'm not very fond of em' to begin with.
:scared:

Why the photog statue? I mean... not why did you snap it.... but why the statue? Is that place a good place for photos? Or is someone like... oh, I don't know... let's say Touchdown flying around the country erecting statues of himself.

That 30 f/1.4 looks like a blast to play with.
