1. Very sexy
Extremely sexy. Now give me some advice as to how can I get women to pose for me like that?

3. Oh, Raging, I would have posed for you. However, I am aged now...
kinda like expensive cheese, you know?

From 1956, Venetian Pool, Coral Gables, Florida:

14. What a body!
I bet you left all the men in a trance.

Venetian Pool is where I learned how to swim as a kid. A beautiful place. I didn't realize until I got older and started traveling how lucky I was to have been able to take swimming lessons in such a beautiful watering hole.

15. "Left all the men in a trance," huh? Well, I dated one guy and put

him in a trance for a couple of years, I guess. He's now seventy years old and still living in Miami, been married since the 1960s, with two adult kids -- and a new grandson who turns one year old in July.

Here's a photo of us sneaking away to a motel on Sanibel Island on the West Coast of Florida. Wow, that was in 1956 -- before they had a causeway (we had to take a small ferry). I can't believe it's been fifty years! In peace, Radio_Lady in Oregon

4. Well, Blue_in_AK, those shots are about as close to NATURE as
you can get.

But I know what you mean. THIS is NATURE:

5. Beautiful work, gmoney. Are they all models, girl friends -- or ???
Just a note: I just can't warm up to piercings in the nose, but that's just me, I guess.

6. model wannabes, mainly...
Tried the bit of talking friends and attractive strangers into posing even for PORTRAITS and just got so much resistance and/or non-commitment that I asked myself "who WANTS to have their picture taken?" And the obvious answer was "models" and of course, model wannabes. So, did a tiny bit of digging online, and there are a number of websites dedicated to helping connect models and photographers of various levels of skill and/or experience. The really nice thing is that you can get an idea how the person looks in photos, and usually the types of work they're interested in doing.

Know a couple photographers who have stumbled into other "communities" of potential models, so I'm a bit jealous of that sometimes.

But thank you, Radio Lady, for your kind words! :)

7. Thanks, Blue
I didn't intend to intimidate at all. I'm fighting that myself -- I see other photographers work, and find myself being intimidated by it. Trying very hard to get past that myself. The phrase I'm trying to take to heart is "what other photographers do doesn't affect me"

8. gmoney, thanks for the second posting
The sultriest one of the bunch somehow is the New York 212 shot, proving that skin isn't a prerequisite. for sexiness.

The women by the window shot has a sort of David Hamilton quality, but edgier and superior to Hamilton's endlessly overdone soft-focus. The ones that are more overtly erotic are also really pleasing, on more than one level...

Kudos!

13. coming from you, that means a lot!
Hi Honey...

Miss you a lot. I'm doing well, but seem to be terminally behind in my obligations. Dating is taking a lot more time than I'd remembered, so that's putting me further behind in other areas. Oh well, it's a good kind of busy.

Hope happy things are happening with you... drop me an IM sometime. :)

No augmentation on that one, actually. That's almost exactly as it came out of the camera... sun just went behind a cloud at the right moment. :)

Sorry I haven't been in touch lately... Briarius saw this thread and I had to come in and have a look. Damn. Awesome. I may yet re-think the photo shoot. Just promise me no pics of my stomach ;) Thanks for sharing these!
