Take a picture Saturday and post it here.
As has been pointed out eloquently, there's been way too much talk and not enough photographs here recently. It's great to see the contest entries coming in, but it's not enough. Shoot something & slap it up here. I dare ya.
:P

If you're more of the "purist" type and want more of a motion blur.... I got one of them too. And do you have any idea how close to the road I had to stand to get this? But when someone double dog dares me... :P

36. That is, you'll pardon the expression, freakin' great
Been sittin' here drinking wine, listening to John Hiatt and Paul Simon, checking back on this thread off and on. It's been worth the wait, F.Gordon.

And hell, I wouldn't mind seeing the motion blur too...

39. Hope it's the "good" Wine in the Box
:9

I need to listen to some tunes... too. John Hiatt & Paul Simon. Nice. What do you suggest? I'm thinkin' Jazz. I just downed a few shots of espresso. Working on some pixie dust. Got kicked in the gut pretty hard yesterday so when I saw your thread calling for pics I said "screw it" and went on a little mini-adventure today.

Scanning my flimsie Pinhole camera snaps at the moment.... will try to get some more pixie dust up before the espresso wears off.... including the motion blur. :P

Thanks!
:hi:

40. I was just going to switch to Paul Desmond myself
but ran across an MP3 of Jan Akkerman's rendition of Classical Gas, on a 12-string. Amazing recording, even in this crappy format; sounds like I've got my head stuck in the soundhole. After this, maybe some Harmonium (pretty obscure Stateside, I think, a wonderful Quebecois band from the '70s). Worth seeking out online or in any good vintage vinyl store; can't recommend them enough.

And the wine. Darn right it's boxed. Do they market wine in other types of containers now? I gotta get out more.

Love to see pinhole snaps or anything else. Spent an hour at Phirebrush and other sites tonight, but ugh. I'm hankering to see some great photos and the web just ain't being accomodating tonight.

15. It is pretty great, isn't it?
HullBoss created this office for me out of what used to be my ex-husband's shop and junk room. It's been an amazing transformation. The door is something HB brought up from Texas with him, an antique over 100 years old, that he picked up at an auction down there. It was originally a set of three, I believe, but his ex got the other panels in the divorce settlement. I really love it. We had fun stripping off the old white paint and refinishing the wood.

I took a break from hanging cabinets and ran outside with the camera. No frost or freeze here yet, trees are just starting to turn (late this year) or have no leaves at all. So here you go.

Had I not already enter the seasonal contest I might of used this one, even if it does look more like spring or summer.

No, the ingredients above were for a seafood pasta; scallops were cooked on the side. It was delish and we have plenty of leftovers, too, so that's what's for dinner on Tuesday, too.

Here's the link to the cooking group if you're so inclined; lots of nice, knowledgeable people there, lots of recipes, and who doesn't like food?
