Cormorants on a post. My first photography group real posting

I love the "texture" of the water in this, and the colors all work with one another very well.

You can really see the iridescences of that bird in that shot. Cormorants are so cool and now I know what there feet look like.

do you have a telephoto?/ How did you get so close?
I did not know that their feet were that big, either!!
And I have never seen pilings made from srtuctural lumber like that- they are all round here...

4. Ferry dock in San Juan Islands, WA specs...

fujifilm S3000, with zoomed in. Not sure of any other specs as camera is set to whatever normal is. Thanks. I liked the shine on them.

5. Not only is that a good photo...

...but it seems to be telling a story, with the two birds appearing to determinedly look away from each other.
