When you live smack in the middle of 5 million + people
Sometimes you have to invent your own landscapes. These were generated with Terragen. Free, minimal learning curve, addictive. Since we don't have a Graphics Group anymore, I'll subject y'all to these.

3. Thanks. I really recommend this app
You can get good results almost right away, and it lends itself to trial and error.:)

5. It's so much easier to use than other scenery rendering software
At least any I've tried. There's a Terragen 2 forthcoming, which looks to be even more amazing than the original.

7. Apparently there'll be a free version
which I think may differ from the paid one in some of its capabilities. Sounds as if they still have a number of issues they're making decisions about. This version has been rewritten from the ground up, and may not be as intuitive to use. The preview galleries for it are just unreal.

8. I will keep an eye out. I have the Yahoo account and get
updates, but I don't remember reading anything on pricing.
