Lily and Pixie

I've posted a few shots of my girlfriend Cindy's dog in the past (remember the dog in a diaper?), so you guys may recall her. In the apartment complex where we live, there's a little bulldog named Pixie who loves to play with Lily. The bulldog is even more hyper than our Jack Russell terrier, if you can believe that. Here they are with Cindy:

Pixie has these weird dalmation-like spots on the back of her ears:

I'm a Russell fan (my sister had two for years, only one of which survives now). No other breed seems to have as great a smile as a Jack Russell. Though Pixie's got quite a grin, too. Charming photo of two undoubtedly charming dogs.:7

9. Lily has real personality

She has such expressive eyes, it's really pretty easy to tell what she's thinking. Smart as a whip. A really good dog.

What's really hilarious is when Lily tries to get my cat to play with her. She rolls around on the floor, twists her body left and right, crouches down right in front of that cat, jumps up and down. And all the while the cat just looks at her like, "What the hell is your problem?".

3. Those dogs look very happy.

They seem to be smiling in that 2nd photo. How cute.

4. They are definitely smiling

Most dogs learn to smile the human way, and do it at the appropriate times. I know some trainers tell you not to smile at dogs because they may interpret it as baring teeth, but I've never actually seen that to be an issue.

10. Thanks! 2nd time around for both of us.

We had already planned the cruise and thought, hey, why not get married on a beautiful tropical beach? The idea of a low-key wedding, letting other people handle everything, sounded just right to us. We're very excited. Cindy already has her dress and "bridal flip-flops". I kid you not!
