How about some spring photos from the SUBURBS instead of wild areas?
A few shots from my Photo Expedition deep into the wild suburbs of the Denver metro area. Still too much snow in the Colorado wild areas, so I looked for signs of Spring in the various Denver suburbs…..

Nothing says "Spring" like bringing out your cherry Chevy. :P

Perty Pink Flowers. This was shot in a “wild area”. I like taking shots of graffiti and tags. This was in an industrial area I wouldn’t venture in during the night…..

Have to include at least one bird photo. It's a law or something. :eyes:

I call this “Yellow”. How original.

Sunflowers. My batteries died right after this shot so I didn’t get around to composing a better shot…. (lesson # 15: Always bring extra batteries):(

2. I always wanted to take Balloon pics. Sooooo colorful
There are a few huge launch festivals around here in the summer but you have to get up at like 4:00am. I live too close to Buckley ANG. They'd send off a few F16's if a Hot Air Balloon flew around here....

3. We have a few balloonist in this area.
Most of them seem to like to fly on the south end of town because there is more green space, underground powerlines and more interesting terrain.

... and made it part of the photo. Maybe I'm assuming too much, but it indicates to me that you "thought outside of the box" and paid attention to something we too often mentally throw away. Bravo. We live in an abundant Universe and it's up to us to open our own eyes. (But it's nice when we get help like this.)

9. You mean the cemetery photo...
I was just passing by, saw the shadow, paused, thought about for a sec, raised camera, said "NAH", began to move on, looked again, said what the heck, clicked, smiled, then went on...

24. Tell me you play the piano and write music......
... and I'm going to throw up. Tell me you're a published author and I'll hang myself. I'm envious.

I've been flying through life at such a furious pace over the last 20 years I haven't taken time to do the things I enjoy doing.

Word.

I watch many of my neighbors: Garage door opens. They drive in and disappear from the world. Then the Garage door opens in the morning and they drive off to do whatever it is they do.....

But I never see them out at night and I'm the neighborhood vampire/night stalker. Unless they sneak out in their stealth bat mobile. :smoke:

BTW: My post heading should have read "Ain't that the truth" for those of you that can't decipher my cryptic posts... ;)
