1. Awesome...
Nice contrast between the colors...not to mention the singular humanity of the subject matter against the "bigness" city.

I think the third one is my favorite...gives a human face to to all the neon...

(And I'm glad you finally got your pictures up... )

3. From a purely technical perspective ...
the second one, looking up the BOA Tower, is stunning. Is it lit up in cyan, or is that a light effect from somewhere nearby?

The BOA building is one of the most impressive buildings in Miami because it changes color depending on event or theme. For example, the above photo was taken this month on a cold evening so it had the winter theme, complete with snowflakes (not that it ever snows in Miami).
I used my Canon 10D on a tripod with a 20mm lens I just bought.
Here are two other photos I took of the same building when it had different colors. I used a 24mm lens on a tripod. The red, white and blue photo was taken the night before the presidential debates. As you can tell by the spots on the photo, it had been raining that night.
That long stream of light is the People Mover, a downtown extension of the metrorail rapid transit system that goes throughout Miami. You can see the People Mover come out the other side of the building in the other two photos.

6. That last one is almost animated
It's like the trees are really moving. Amazing.
