Neat Image or Noise Ninja or ?, What is the best noise reduction progrqam?
I've tried both Neat Image and Noise Ninja, Ninja seems a bit more sophisticated but both produce very nice results.

I'll probably be using the Photoshop plugin version in order to do batch processing.

Anyone have opinions either way and is there another program/plugin that will do an even better job?

1. I've used NeatImage...
Pity it won't work in 64-bit CS4 as a plug-in... :( I've heard of Noise Ninja and read up on it a tad, but have never used it.

Both are excellent IMHO.

2. Both are good.
I downloaded both as free trials to see which I liked better. I chose Noise Ninja because I liked the UI better.

3. I decided on Noise Ninja, even though it is a bit more expensive..
I take a lot of pics in relatively low light at high ISO #s with my compact camera and full automation of the noise removal process is important to me..

After trying both programs I think Noise Ninja's noise reduction algorithm is somewhat superior to that of Neat Image, particularly so when using the automatic profiling on the image in question.

I'm using the full Pro Photoshop plugin version and I like it quite a lot.
