1. Happy New Year!
These are really good, especially the second one.

You've inspired me to head down to Chinatown with cameras in tow, but I'll hold off until it gets just a little warmer.

2. Do you have a parade there?
I think ours is next weekend. Last year, I missed getting any good photos of the lion dancers. I'm determined to try again.

4. Good question. I've looked for news about a parade
but haven't seen anything. Good luck with yours.

3. That last one is wonderful.
And Happy New Year to you. I made a Chinese dinner a couple of nights ago in honor.

5. Great shots.....
.......especially the third.

The photo is so "busy" with all the color and decoration, and then offset by the women, frozen in what they were doing.

Thanks for sharing.

P.S. - The second one made me hungry. I've always remarked about how "passionate" photos can spur us to action.........and that one made me want to eat. Passionately. LOL!!!

6. New years is all about the food
Well okay, there are other important traditions but food plays a major part. There are loads of yummy things this time of year.

7. The second and third
photos are just bursting with color. Is that Peking Duck in the middle pic? Now I'm craving Peking Duck.

Also sending Happy Chinese New Year wishes your way.
