I really didn't expect this when I entered. I just threw it in there because it fit the category, not because it was a great shot or anything, since like I've said before, I'm totally an accidental photographer.

2. Congrats to everyone who competed!

It was a real nail-biter and every photo in the line-up deserved to win, but like W.C. Fields used to say...never work with kids and animals. :rofl:

Thanx to Jim for running this one so well. I will do my best to live up to the torch being passed for next month's contest. I know I need to put up a suggestion thread, a submission thread, and a comment thread here in this forum, and then put up the prelims in GD. I can go back and look at the formatting of all of that, but can someone give me what kind of timeline I should be looking at for all of those? I would greatly appreciate it.

6. Congratulations to the winners. Special congratulations to Hippywife for her

tremendously unusual and to me hysterically wonderful shot of the thief.
What an exciting race this was and we ended up with 3 animal photos as the winners.
I liked the hot chick very much because it was so up close and personal, a wonderful shot.
And I love the pup. He is a winner the second time, I think he placed in a shot as a little puppy, in the contest called "celebrations" and it was called "leash-free". The pup's expression is the best visual of "WTF" I have ever seen.

Anyway - a happy day, thank you for your work Itchinjim, and now it's on to the next one.
