Flipper
Had to share.
Off the New Jersey coast by Cape May we ran into about 60 Porpoises hanging around the boat.

12. Uh, England.
That's the ship that sunk you. Well, JPJones decided she was less damaged than the Bonny Dick, so they took her.

Nice captures, Bonhomme Richard.

My daughters go surfing almost every morning and a pod of dolphins has taken to visiting quite reliably! They even have a brand new baby they love to show off- they lift the baby up for the girls to ohh & ahh over..it is magical.

and came upon a pod of finbacks. That was great.
The shots of the porpoises were taken from the boat I was on right off the beach.
I have a shore house up the road in Avalon. I grew up surfing in Avalon and did a lot of partying at a gravel pit lake in the pines of Court House.

9. Yeah, I was arrested but in Avalon at 18.
Used to party at the gravel pits with a couple of Court House guys whose Dad owned a trash business that picked up in Avalon. Beer and crabs. After they built the new bridge into Avalon we used to walk to the center of it with our fishing rods and beer, climb over the railing, down the ladder and fish off the ice breakers in the middle of the night. We were nuts but caught lots of weakfish. Those were the good old days.
I'm talking about the late 60's - early 70's
LOL, I had a 8' 10" Rick UFO board. Wish I never got rid of it.

I made a 'friend' of a wild one on a scuba-diving vacation one year in Provo, Grace Bay. A transcendent experience.
