Some must-see photography by the son of an old & dear friend of mine |
|
http://www.alexanderjardine.com/He's just recently put this site together. I think he's a great young talent. And for good measure, some photos by his sister, who's pretty impressive herself: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29846685@N07/ Hope you enjoy.:hi:

Sigh.
I guess I'll be packing up my camera now...my pathetic little attempts are zeroes next to these two!
WOW.
Phenomenal. Astonishing. Glorious. Amazing. and well...you get the picture, literally...
Thank you, sweetie...
The thing that got me the most in both sets of pictures: the saturation, the richness of detail, the depth of it.
Good god.
Oh, and BTW...I'll keep on taking pics. Perhaps these two will inspire me to greater heights.

2. That's what it's all about, Peggy. |

Taking inspiration from sure eyes and creative minds.
Alex and his sister were extraordinary little kids who have grown up to be extraordinary young adults. I can appreciate why their mother, a really extraordinary woman herself, is so proud of her kids.
I'll keep shooting myself, if only for those moments when I get lucky. Those are more than sufficient reward for being passionate about photography.
