Damn Sigma put the wrong damn zip code on the package and it ended up in damn Maynard, Massachusetts instead of Lowell where it should have been.
Grrrrr. Oh well, it should be here tomorrow (which means I'll have it for the weekend).

I live in a condo and UPS is the WORST when it comes to delivering to multi-units. They have to attempt delivery 3 times before I can just go and pick it up at their joint. FedEx just lets me sign a paper, or I can go to their joint that night. The PO has a parcel box in my lobby (although FedEx uses it too, without keys, just to hide it).
I've had Sigmas for 5 years without a problem. Pretty good lenses. What went wrong?

2. It was a problem with the optical stabilization motor in my 80-400 lens |
|
No biggie. It should be here tomorrow, and the rental office in the building will sign for it, they always do (I have great property management here).
Sigma makes some great stuff at great prices (I'm also a big fan of their flash units, you get a lot of bank for the buck).

:grr: ;) I just bought a Nikon flash. I'm tired of calculating exposure and setting the right blitz level and bracketing anymore. Let the camera do it. My 5 year old Sunpak is now a backup.
I have a 100-300 and a 28-80. Both Sigmas. They were part of the package when I bough my N60 in 2000.

4. The Sigma EF 500 DG Super and ST are |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-21-05 06:47 PM by ET Awful
both compatible with all the i-TTL metering, etc.
They work pretty well. The ST is a pretty close match for the Nikon 600 and the Super falls between the Nikon 600 and 800 as far as features go.
Great prices on both :).
I have the ST currently, but will most likely upgrade to the Super (or maybe splurge and go for the Nikon 800) in the future.

Denver? 105 degrees??? Of course there's no such thing as global warming. My sunglasses melted in my car! That's why I only buy cheap $10 specs. :eyes:
